Our Story

Fort Pierce’s only
tapas concept

The Urban Tapas was born from a simple idea: downtown Fort Pierce deserved something it didn’t have. A place where the plates are meant to be passed, the cocktails are built from scratch, and nobody’s in a hurry to leave.

Our kitchen, led by Chef Scott Enterline, turns out chef-driven small plates alongside daily specials that never repeat. Behind the bar, we make our own shrubs and syrups, pull fresh espresso daily for our signature espresso martinis, and age cocktails in-house in a bourbon barrel.

The portions run more generous than the word “tapas” lets on — order a few plates, share everything, and stay a while.

Good Questions

Before you visit

Do I need to dress up?

There’s no dress code. Guests show up in everything from beach casual to date-night looks — wear what feels right for your night.

Are tapas portions really small?

Ours run bigger than the word suggests. Most guests order two to three plates each and share everything — that’s the fun of it. Your server will help you build the right spread for your table.

Do I need a reservation?

Walk-ins are always welcome. For Friday and Saturday nights we recommend booking online or calling (772) 239-9175 to hold a table.

Where do I park?

Street parking is available on 2nd Street and the surrounding downtown blocks, just steps from our door.

Do you have gluten-free or vegetarian options?

Yes — many plates are gluten-free or easily made so (marked GF on the menu), and we have vegetarian and vegan options plus house-made zero-proof mocktails. Just ask your server.

What’s the 18% hospitality charge?

We include an 18% hospitality charge in every check so our whole team is fully compensated. No additional tipping is expected — the price you see covers everyone who made your night happen.
